- Bio
- Oh god, not the old bio bs again....I am, variously, a writer, editor, knitter, foodie human being type person . My blogs are http://byjane.blogspot.com and http://midlifebloggers.com I am also Newly Single, and that seems to be the place I'm writing from--oops, also a writing/comp teacher, and that should be "from which I'm writing"--these days. However, my interests are eclectic; my opinions are endless; and I'm not shy about expressing them. Except when I am--and only I know when that is, unfortunately after the fact at times.

There are carrots and potatoes and maybe a head or two of garlic roasting in the oven. I've tossed them with olive oil and lightly sprinkled them with sea salt and ground pepper, the four variety kind. To what end, you ask? I'm not sure. They were what was in the… Read full post »
Traveling by myself has never been a big deal to me. I know it is for lots of women; my sister, the inveterate world traveler, for one, cannot get on a plane by herself. But our mother liked me better, or well enough, that is, to pass on to me her… Read full post »
Last night when I went to bed, I had the feeling that Sarah Palin would become McCain's Harriet Miers. The allegations that Palin's youngest son, the four month old, was really her grandson--it all seemed familiar to me and I couldn't figure out why. Oh yeah, Desperate Housewives: didn't Bree… Read full post »
...well, it sure as hell wouldn't be coitus now, would it.
Seeing as I haven't been near a coit in I don't know how long.
I've got half-filled cartons and a lack of will to finish the job.
It's an odd thing that happens to me; or maybe not. Maybe… Read full post »
