sorry, I was having a nostalgic moment. Remembering how sweet my little blonde, blue-eyed trolls were at that age. They're lovely now, but they eat too much and their feet stink.

Those eyes are just the start. There are dimples and a smile, too. It makes it hard to be tough, discipline-focused Dad & Mom, when she delightedly spills her milk all over the table... but does it in such a "cute" way.

I can imagine. I have a 12 month old. I love the look on his face when he looks over his shoulder, while proceeding with something he's just been told to stop.

What a little heartbreaker.

I had a great moment last night, chatting with a 5 year old. What's the best part of Halloween, I asked her. Dressing up? Or going to the houses to get candy?

Greg, the kids look like us. We both had blond hair when we were kids. Maclain looks a lot like me, with hazel eyes and my chin, and Aila looks a lot like Karen, with blue eyes and some of her features.
