I was amazed after entering the Paris subway and there is this larger than life mosaic of Carl Lewis on the wall of the Paris subway. It is beautiful In a way. This shows how the French respect Carl, and  I do not suppose it is only there to point out just his atheletic achievements. But  more also of  his achievements for helping his fellow citizens of the world.

Yet and still some dumb arses in this part of Jersey. Burlington county and his hometown Willingboro, where I now reside, disowned Carl because of his personal life.

He  decided to run for  state senate and they refuse to  put him on the ballot because of some residencey laws.

 Hell there  are residency laws for police and firemen. That is that they  reside in the city they serve. These laws ARE NOT FOLLOWED.

There is more to it than that for Carl, first he is a minority male, and also to honest for Jersey politics.  And correct me if I am incorrect Carl leads an alternative life style. That in its self another reason.

Keep it up Carl, one day they will run out of excuses.
