It was 8pm and I was at work when they called, so I just rushed home and hubby is putting the monsters to bed so we can crack open some vino. YIPPPEEE!!!
Congratulations! Don't be surprised if they still want to remove the lump - my lump was benign, but my doc still wanted me to have it out. (So what was that needle biopsy for anyway? I guess to satisfy the insurance company.) Anyway, it was the least painful surgery I've ever had and did not leave a huge gouge in my breast which was what I dreaded most next to the bill.
Yeah!!!!! Wonderful news. And you can help a lot of scared women with this post, because most biopsy results do come back with that beautiful word, BENIGN.
It's understandable to be afraid, but just don't freak out ladies. It probably is NOT cancer.
you all are SO sweet and I'm blowing kisses to each and every one of you, Mwah, mwah and more mwah. :)
Last night I slept like a rock, having shrugged off this weird protective bubble I'd constructed to save my sanity while waiting. The waiting truly was the torturous part, ugh -- I don't know how anyone keeps from losing their marbles!
Yay! I was just going to say that I don't know you, but then I realized I read and loved your mini-me post a while back. So now I'm not just happy because you're a person, I'm happy because you're a nifty person with a nifty daughter! Yay!
