It's important you follow race day etiquette:

  1.  Don't run across the road. Avoid the runners
  2. Obey the race officials
  3. Don't eat the Dunkie's Breakfast Bagel of the little girl behind you no matter how many times she says "pretty puppy"

You come to Boston, you get a ringside seat for the Marathon
Those are P.E. hands, btw. Let the speculation begin!
nolegs
This Brit was in the first 25! No legs! I may never complain again.

We then retired to a fine establishment for much after-race celebrations... followed by a nap.
Thanks for joining me!

See? That's just good advice, you replace puppy with Tink, and well, it's my Saturday gone wrong...:)

Good stuff.
I don't remember you taking half those pictures!!
And now for another hour of looking at shelties at petfinder.
Thanks for the report Finn you did a great job. I always appreciate a dog's eye view. I am a pup reporter and proud member of the puparazzi. ;o) 2 Paws up! Mrs. Michaels step away from the petfinder.
Thanks SJ we Shelties have to stick together. But I know what you mean. Finn is all like "I'm enabling her!"

Little girls? Saying "Pretty Tink"? We have got to talk!
I have to keep telling myself, they shed AND bark. The current dog-in-residence, a North Texan malamute, for all that she leaves snowbanks of dog hair around the house, does not bark. And the cat-in-residence thinks we have quite enough dog around here anyway. But they have the most beautiful faces. . .
Did make it in for the Marathon. But spent most of the time looking for Finn between Cleveland Circle and Coolidge Corner, never saw him, darnit. Closest we came was Fin's Sushi and Grill! And there was a cute puppy near Tappan Street being nuzzled by a Boxer (!).

Had a great time cheering on our man Nat -- he started at 1400+ and finished 208th at 2:42 (and is moaning he didn't beat 2:40 -- despite that headwind!). The guy without legs running on the prostheses was amazing -- is it the same person who there was a brouhaha about letting run in the Olympics or someone different?

Great day for Boston. Great pictures by Finn. Extra Kibbles 'n Bits for the Finnster tonight.

WOOF
Thank you for the report and pics Finn, I have missed your gorgeous face. And I always miss Boston!
Finn doesn't bark, Mrs, as much as ear-splitingly yip. Lovely in an enclosed space. No shedding as of yet but he's still all baby fur. See me next Spring.

Naw, Dawg, take it from a native. The drunks start just before Cleveland Circle (can you believe they closed the Cinema?). Up by
St Ignatius - cute co-eds of all denominations and stripe, discrete beverages with the Chestnut Hill hoi-poloi (of which I are one), the gang that works at the Trolly barns, even a "not bad in a pinch" college oriented strip mall. Hence the aforementioned Dunkin's.

If my math is correct Nat ran 6:27 per mile. Gee that's tough he said ironically. An extra 7 secs per mile just shows he's not serious.
I, on the other hand, couldn't make it to the nearest convenience store in 6:27.
It could very well be the same Brit. He has a spotter with him in the pic and that guy was working the crowd. The "devices" looked worn. Like "24.8 miles and you need a new pair" worn.
I'm a total sucker for you, Finn. I was under the weather yesterday or I would have been here sooner to appreciate your pictorial narrative.
