Hey ya! Hi ya! Let me give you a dog's eye view of the 113th Boston Marathon!
there were lots of signs...
some were kind of weird

Is this some kind of gay marriage thing?

Black helicopters?!? This can only mean...

...here come the women!
Salina Kosgei of Kenya (far right) went on to win!
Deriba Merga of Ethiopia won the men's

It's important you follow race day etiquette:
- Don't run across the road. Avoid the runners
- Obey the race officials
- Don't eat the Dunkie's Breakfast Bagel of the little girl behind you no matter how many times she says "pretty puppy"
You come to Boston, you get a ringside seat for the Marathon
Those are P.E. hands, btw. Let the speculation begin!

This Brit was in the first 25! No legs! I may never complain again.
"Ladies we're goin' on a little full pack walk and do some sightseeing"

and they kept coming for hours
We then retired to a fine establishment for much after-race celebrations... followed by a nap.
Thanks for joining me!

See? That's just good advice, you replace puppy with Tink, and well, it's my Saturday gone wrong...:)
Good stuff.
Little girls? Saying "Pretty Tink"? We have got to talk!
Had a great time cheering on our man Nat -- he started at 1400+ and finished 208th at 2:42 (and is moaning he didn't beat 2:40 -- despite that headwind!). The guy without legs running on the prostheses was amazing -- is it the same person who there was a brouhaha about letting run in the Olympics or someone different?
Great day for Boston. Great pictures by Finn. Extra Kibbles 'n Bits for the Finnster tonight.
WOOF
Naw, Dawg, take it from a native. The drunks start just before Cleveland Circle (can you believe they closed the Cinema?). Up by
St Ignatius - cute co-eds of all denominations and stripe, discrete beverages with the Chestnut Hill hoi-poloi (of which I are one), the gang that works at the Trolly barns, even a "not bad in a pinch" college oriented strip mall. Hence the aforementioned Dunkin's.
If my math is correct Nat ran 6:27 per mile. Gee that's tough he said ironically. An extra 7 secs per mile just shows he's not serious.
I, on the other hand, couldn't make it to the nearest convenience store in 6:27.
It could very well be the same Brit. He has a spotter with him in the pic and that guy was working the crowd. The "devices" looked worn. Like "24.8 miles and you need a new pair" worn.
