Proctor & Gamble Introduce Designer Diapers

Rate: 3 Flag

Even in a time of economic turmoil, fashion ideas still surface. Soon, it will be possible to have baby's bottom covered with the latest in chic diaper design. In July, western culture officially enters the designer diaper era:

"The Procter & Gamble Co. is aiming to make disposable diapers fashionable.

Popular designer Cynthia Rowley has designed 11 styles of Pampers, including pastels, stripes, madras and ruffles. P&G said Wednesday they’ll be offered in Target Corp. stores beginning in mid-July."

Of course, to have baby this fashionable means an extra cost. There are still parents who remember that a clean diaper meant having a reliable washing machine and a clothes line for drying. And the babies never objected to a lack of style.
