- Where do you start with something like this. I'm your typical white male. I'm married, for the third time. I have 9 kids and 4 grandchildren.
Currently I'm an OTR truck driver. I've been doing it for the past year and a half, but I've had several careers. This one is just the latest.
In the past I've tried selling cars. That didn't last long. I should say it didn't take me very long to figure out that I'm to honest to sell cars.
I've spent lots of years in the restaurant business. Most of that was in the pizza business either as a manager for other or for myself.
I also spent 8 years in the Air Force working in ER's and flying Aeromedical Evacuation. I have to say, the biggest mistake I've ever made was getting out.
Anything else you want to know, just ask. I'll tell you.

Keith Obermann is just plain wrong

What's up with the word UP?
Lovers of the English language might enjoy this. It is yet another
example of why people learning English have trouble with the
language. Learning the nuances of English makes it a
difficult language. (But then, that's probably true of many
languages.)
There is a two-letter word in… Read full post »
I have your daughter
There have been several posts about torture lately. Most of them are written by well meaning people but I think they think of this in the "not in my back yard" style that they live their lives.
So play along with me and think like a parent for a minute. You… Read full post »

We cannot blame the white people any longer
“We cannot blame the white people any longer.”
Nope, I didn't say that. That is a quote from Dr. William Henry 'Bill' Cosby, Jr., Ed.D. Do you think he might be on to something? For years when people pointed at Condi Rice or General Powell as black people… Read full post »
He's Just a Load
The one thing you don't have to worry about when you come here is saying something and nobody knows what you are talking about. Everyone here is well informed about current events. We may not agree about them, but we know the issues and can discuss them.
Palin's new grandson
So where are all the blogs saying I made a mistake? For months OS went nuts with stories about who gave birth to Trigg Palin. Well it seems like those who believed in the vast right wing conspiracy were wrong.
On December 27 Bristol Palin gave birth… Read full post »

Public Option and Vending Machines
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi earlier today rolled out the House's version of health care reform. The bill is a 1,990 page whopper, downloadable here.
