1. Who was your FIRST prom date?
I didn't go - not sure why now, but it wasn't important in the stoner world I existed in at the time.
2. Who was your FIRST love and do you still talk with him/her?
Leto. *sigh* I haven't talked to him in eons, but that doesn't mean I don't remember, and sigh over the memories. We were "set up" by a friend of mine who was dating his best friend. The first day we met, he tried to do that thing where you squeeze an egg, and it's not supposed to break - it broke, and went everywhere. I've always been a sucker for a man who can make me laugh, even when I was fifteen.
3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?
Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill (I think). I loved it, although the thought alone makes me wince now. The above mentioned Leto used to buy it for me when we went on dates (read: went to the drive-in movie, and made out for close to two hours). Hey, I was fifteen. I was allowed.

4. What was your FIRST job?
Lifeguard at the pool at the country club. Very, very cushy job (thanks mom & dad). Did you know that the most painful sunburn you can ever get is on the soles of your feet? Yes, indeedy. My lifeguard's chair was right at the side of the pool, and my feet hung over the water. By the second day, the bottom of my feet had sunburned, I kid you not, and I spent the rest of the summer wearing those little tennis socks the whole time I was up in the chair.
5. What was your FIRST car?
1976 Fiat Spider. What can I say? I was a daddy's girl. (this is exactly like the one I had - except that my dad wrecked it my senior year, and it didn't look anything close to this by the time he got through with it. Yes, my dad wrecked my car) My next car was an Audi sedan. Not nearly as much fun, but it was a helluva lot faster *grin*.

6. Who was the FIRST person to text you today?
My BFF (only slightly kidding). We call each other that, very sarcastically. We also call each other "crackhead" occasionally. An odd relationship, but it works.
7. Who is the FIRST person you thought of this morning?
My youngest son. He was snuggled up next to me in bed. I have no idea when he crawled in there with me, but I must have been tired as hell not to wake up when he invaded my space.
8. Who was your FIRST grade teacher?
I have no earthly idea. I do remember my 3rd and 4th grade teachers, though: Mrs. Love (a place in her class made you the envy of the entire school - loved her) and Mrs. Dutton (she was horrible). This would never be allowed now, but Mrs. Love used to choose a "slave"each day to carry her purse/books, sit next to her at lunch, and generally run errands. To be chosen as "slave" for the day was ecstas-inducing to us eight-year-olds, especially since the "slave" would receive candy as a reward at the end of the day.
9. When and where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?
I was eleven or twelve, and my mom, my younger brother and I all flew from L.A. to Georgia to visit my mom's rather large family for the summer. I think I'd flown earlier than that, from Massachusetts to Georgia, but I was around two, so don't remember it.
10. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?
Julie Thomas, and we haven't talked in years...exchange notes at Christmas...that's about it. For years...up through high school...if you saw one of us, the other wasn't far away. Two peas in a pod.
11. Where was your FIRST sleepover?
Michele Koff's house. I was besotted with her brother. He was three years older, and so sophisticated and good-looking. I think he was maybe twelve at the time.
12. Who was the FIRST person you talked to today?
My youngest son.
13. Whose wedding were you in the FIRST time?
Ronda Weatherholt's. My dress was about three sizes too big, and had an open back, so no bra. I spent the entire wedding worried I was gonna flash everybody.
14. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?
Made coffee.
15. What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?
The Doobie Brothers at UCSB stadium. I was thirteen, and I still can't believe my parents let me go. I don't think they knew what a doobie was. I think that Michele and I were the youngest people there. We were surrounded by partying hippies, and we had a blast.

16. FIRST tattoo?
A couple of small flowers on my upper right shoulder. I'm not sure why I chose it - when I got it done, they would still do them even if you were drunk, and I was. Very.
17. FIRST piercing?
Ears, when I was nine years old. I had to beg my mom, and then she had to get hers pierced first, to make sure of....something, before she let her daughter have it done.
18. FIRST foreign country you've been to?
Mexico. I went to Mexico City for a week when I was sixteen...my boyfriend's grandparents lived there. It was way too much fun for a teenager. I don't think I ever really told my parents what all we'd done while we were there.
19. FIRST movie you remember seeing in the theater?
Gone With the Wind - my mom took me to see it when they rereleased it to theaters about thirty years ago.

20. FIRST Detention you had?
I don't think I ever had detention. Got suspended once, but that's a whole 'nother story. ;)
21. What was the FIRST state you lived in?
Massachusetts - was born there.
22. If you had three wishes, what would the FIRST one be?
That I could have a "do over" starting about the time I was eighteen or so.
23. What is the FIRST thing you would learn if you had the chance?
I wish I could play the fiddle. I've tried...it wasn't pretty. Piano, I can play...the organ, too. I can even pluck out a song on a guitar, and I'm not too bad on base, but there's something about that instrument sitting on your shoulder. It's the hardest damn thing I've ever tried to do. It took me almost two hours to be able to (sort of) screech out "Mary had a Little Lamb, and it still sounded like cats mating. Stupid thing.
