1. Who was your FIRST prom date?

Jamie Simpson. A senior that went to my church youth group. I was a sophomore. She asked me. I wasn't that into her and I didn't think that she liked me except as friends. I was wrong. I broke things off afterward because I didn't want to lead her on.

2. Who was your FIRST love and do you still talk with him/her? 

Megan. Same year as above. I was still a sophomore and she was a freshman. I was crazy about her. She was smart, beautiful, had freckles, her dad was a real scientist which I found fascinating, and she liked me. We had one huge incompatibility: I was a devout Christian and she was atheist. We never got together due to my shyness and awkwardness (multi-hour "conversations" where I said almost nothing because I was so scared). I never lost my crush on her all the way through high-school. I was so nervous about her that I could barely stand to be in the same room as her. I went to college and we never saw each other again. I still think about her all the time. 

3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink? 

My friends gave me a drink of a beer named Rogue Shakespearian Stout when I was 20. I still only drink dark beers.

4. What was your FIRST job?

Taking Santa Pictures at Nordstrom and watering the poinsettias. 

5. What was your FIRST car?

My family let me drive a VW Quantum 

6. Who was the FIRST person to text you today?

Cherie replying to an IM I sent her at work. 

7. Who is the FIRST person you thought of this morning?

My wife. I am furious with her. 

9. When and where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?

From Seattle to Nebraska to visit my wife's family in 1995 ish.

10. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?

Jeff in junior high. no, I haven't seen him since I moved in High School 

11. Where was your FIRST sleepover?

12. Who was the FIRST person you talked to today?

My housemate Mary Anne

13. Whose wedding were you in the FIRST time?

My aunt and uncle's wedding when I was 4. They gave me a Star Wars Land Speeder for being their ring bearer. I was so bored the whole wedding.

14. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?

Got up and sent and email to work saying that I wasn't going into work today.

15. What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?

Silverwind. A Christian band that sounded like ABBA.

Don't have one.

17. FIRST piercing?

Don't have one 

19. FIRST movie you remember seeing in the theater?

 Star Wars

20. FIRST Detention you had?

Never had detention. I was a goodie two-shoes (don't drink, don't smoke, what you do)

21. What was the FIRST state you lived in?

Only state is Washington 

22. If you had three wishes, what would the FIRST one be?

To sell my house.
