Bio
Born in the early 60's to a conservative Southern family. Woke up to the bigger world around me and started the process of becoming a free-thinker in the mid- 70's. That has been an interesting process that is still going on today. I grew up listening to The Beatles, The Stones, Zeppelin, Floyd, Tull and the like. Eventually I gravitated towards Dylan and The Band as I grew older (and wiser!). Music really helped me to start thinking outside the Southern Baptist box. I am proud to be a Liberal Democrat, and I vote! I have the same regard for religion that Jesus did.

Your Love is Indelible

Rate: 5 Flag

Your love is indelible,

Ingrained veneration stamped upon my soul.

Your love is feral,

Feline maternal and fierce.

Your love is boundless,

An  amaranthine ocean upon my shore.

Your love is manna,

A daily miracle for this pilgrim.

Beautiful Charlie.
manna, I like that very much. Appreciated, Charlie.
Alive in so few words!
I can picture that amaranthine ocean, Charlie ..... deep and very full.

And "your love is manna" ... beautiful! A gift ... so unconditional.. yes, beautiful!
Thank you again my friends. I am consolidating all my poems here on this blog and then I am preparing to write more in the new year. 2010 was a good year for me. All of my blog was penned as one outburst of creativity after 30 yrs of not writing since high school. what a lot of fun its been. whee!
Your writing is rich. To think you missed even one season, now that is poverty.
scupper - Your commenting is pretty rich, too. Flattery will get you... well, you know. I'm genuinely flattered. You are an OS poetess icon and I just kinda noodle around here. I'm genuinely flattered that my writing caught your attention. I see how much work you put into your writing. Mostly mine are one offs, off the top o' me head.

I want to work harder next year and push for something that I know is in there that I haven't yet given myself a chance to find. In a large way, your work has inspired me to want to make that effort.

Preesh!
Hey... wait a minute. How long has this been going on? Why didn't anyone tell me about you? Man oh man.

This is gorgeous Charlie.
