Listen may Whitney rest in peace; yes she had a great and natural voice, But a
Role model?
I understand that 24 hour news networks need to broadcast something, you know somebody is watching, I mean how many times can you sit though the Shark steamer infomercial?
Two weeks prior to Lady Diana dying in that car crash, she was on a nude beach. Some in the same media were
calling her a slut, poor excuse for a mother.
Next thing you know
“She was such an inspiration to us all”
For those old enough just about the same time as
Lady Di, Mother Teresa past,
Now there was a woman who worked with the sick, the poor in places on this world you have never heard of, and still Lady Di was held in glory.
Maybe it’s me but, is Whitney, Lady Di, Michael Jackson, and even Michael Jordan are these really
role models?
I love Bruce Springsteen’s music,
Because: Every song you can tie into a personal emotion.
I love watching Tiger Woods,
Because: He took a stuffy sport and infused it with youth and a sense of wonder on every shot.
I can list more of what I love but, it’s my only day and I have naps to take.
My point or question is, do we not cheapen or dare I say insult the word
“Role Model”
With every celebrity death in this country?
What do you think?
