Just the music. . . . .
Loved the music, and the haunting title, like a string leading into an ocean
The Bill Evans was especially lovely. Have you ever run across a piano player named Bob Dogan who lives in Chicago and plays wonderful jazz? If you see him, please say hi from me -- I played with him years ago in Grand Rapids.
Love the music and the title. It is 3:44 AM and I was also listening to the music before I came here and saw your incredibly appropriate title. I spend the better part of each night listening to music - it restores my soul - even more so than sleep. Rated
Chicago, Where did you come from? I would have heard them then, the 3 a.m., but I'm so glad to find them waking slowing Sunday.
Thanks for stopping by ---Sandra, Tom, Julie, Tom, Scupper and AS---sometimes my inner DJ just has to come out. . . .

My brother in law introduced me to Jeff Tweedy and now I basically want to BE Jeff Tweedy. Changing a Dylan lyric for the better---that doesn't happen too often.

On Bill Evans---what I love is that a casual listen and you hear---"Nice" but every time you listen from then on in---you hear something different---till you realize---this is the sound of genius.

Cheryl Wheeler's song ---it says so much. That lyric. . .
One of my favorite Dylan songs beautifully done, and I simply loved the Bill Evans piece. In fact, Cheryl Wheeler's performance made this a wonderful triple play.
Thanks MAH--truth told this is good music any time of day!
So much talent came out of Uncle Tupelo and so little of it is heard as often as it should be. Tweedy seems to be mellowing some from his early ego swollen semi-stardom and the music is better for it. Hadn't heard this it was beautiful I'll have to go download.
