During the campaign one of the talking points against Obama was that he's a socialist. Here's a socialist economic professor, Richard Wolff, giving his views on our current economic crisis, which he considers a crisis of capitalism.
Now, here's Obama's speech on the economic crisis from this morning. Does Obama sound like Wolff? Or, is Obama among those that think that the crisis is just a result of a lack of proper regulation? Based on my understanding of what constitutes socialism, I think the answer is pretty clear. Obama's no socialist. But, try pointing that out that category mistake to a right-winger and they'll interpret it as a defense of that socialist, Obama.
