In an effort to get some of the idiocy including the school curriculum's the right-wing contantly claims they just want school's to "teach the controversy" over matters of political controversy. (Whether there is a scholarly controversy seems to be of little importance to them.) Classes over at Beck University have started up but it doesn't quite look like "teaching the controversy" is a part of its approach to education.

In fact, it looks like it's completely one-sided approach to teaching, doesn't it? It seems to me anybody with a basic understanding of the actual historical record and relevant documents can see through this nonesense.
