Wow, I do love the cover of OS. It has really taken on a beautiful look. A minimum of 2 videos per day (thank god, cos I couldn't find those elsewhere), stock photos and a total jumble of articles. Is this what OS is about? If I were visiting OS for the first time, I would immediately go to another site. What is appealing about the cover?
Could we perhaps get some original photos on the cover? Maybe they could replace all the great videos. The quality of the cover most certainly does not match the quality of the content on OS. There's so much good writing and other stuff, but the cover is an utter catastrophe.
When I emailed Kerry Lauerman to ask about maybe using original photos instead of stock photos, I got no reply. I guess if you have no interest in changing things, there's no need to be responsive to the members of your community when they have genuine criticisms.
What exactly is the mission of OS? Could someone please explain?

If you look carefully, it's the same people over and over again who make Cover. I won't name HER since basically everyone knows. Every fucking week she makes Cover. I don't even get!
But honestly, don't try to figure this one out. I've tried and my head nearly exploded!
Lots here have tried as well and have written good pieces on the matter.
And don't bother with Lauerman and the other editors. You're wasting your time with them.
I wish I could give you a more positive answer.
