OK, so I had an art opening at a gallery called Appetite on Friday--I'll write more about this later and post some pics. Appetite is one of the coolest galleries in Buenos Aires and is a favorite of the New York Times (seriously!). You can check out their website at http://www.appetite.com.ar

But there's even bigger news! The director of the gallery, Daniela Luna, asked if she could include a couple of my small drawings in her booth at arteBA!!!! arteBA is the big annual art fair in Buenos Aires and is a super-big deal. http://www.arteba.org A ton of galleries from all over South America have booths at the fair. Appetite will be showing a bunch of artists in their booth, and I will have my own little spot. It's almost like being famous. Almost. :)

aphrabehn, it is a great opportunity. Being the wife of an artist must not be all that easy.
Marcela, I didn't know that anyone on OS was from BA. Very cool. You should go to arteBA and be sure to stop by the Appetite booth. I'll be hanging out there some of the time--maybe we'll meet. Besos

oh my god, chris. this is fabulous beyond words!!!! Buenos Aries, wow, i didn't realize you were there. i wish you'd keep alergting me to your posts. i LOVE hearing this stuff. you are so freaking talented, man. please post pics and photos of your stuff. i'm so excited for you. and exhibiting and that giant art fair. that is phenomenal. love love love and gratitude for sharing this.
