Aryan Nation aficionado and FOX News doll boy, Sean Hannity, is engaging in some serious gay bashing lately. The target of his wrath is Kevin Jennings, an openly gay education official in the Obama administration. Jennings is also the target of rabid, rightwing conservatives because of his gay rights activist past.

Hannity wants Jennings fired. His judgmental rant suggests he’s following a tried-and-true method of increasing his audience exploited effectively by his FOX News colleague Glenn Beck, who successfully engineered the firing of White House green jobs adviser Van Jones.

Beck is FOX’s newest star. His audience now dwarfs Hannity’s audience. His overall viewership has climbed an astonishing 89%, or 136%. By contrast, Hannity’s viewership has climbed a paltry nine percent. In the my big dick is bigger than your dick contest that defines success in cable news, compared to Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity can’t get a decent hard-on.

So, it’s no surprise Hannity is reduced to gay bashing in order to compete with Gotterdammerung Beck.
