Today as I left my apartment, going downstairs to check my mail, there was the letter I was waiting for, from EDD. I won my appeal. This was the 3rd appeal hearing I've had to sit and wait through. I knew that I didn't loose though. I knew because I checked the 800 number and my check was mailed Thursday. They never stopped my checks. Anyway, my hands weren't shaking as I opened the letter. Usually I am completely panic stricken while opening anything from the State. 

I got an email from my friend Sarah, who still temps at the County office where I worked this year. So the County of Orange is testing for an office position. The applications will only be taken on the 12th, and they are only accepting the first 100 applicants. So I think I'll get up at midnight Sunday night, to apply online. I wonder if anybody else will be doing the same.

And I love working at the library! I am a natural at it. I love books I really do. I think I'll look at some college courses at the University for Library Science. What's good about the job is that I can write down the titles of the books I want to read as I check them into the system. And the staff there is so nice. The manager Cathy is the nicest manager ever.

Today the weather cooled down considerably. It's like I can take a breath now. So yesterday I went to the gym. I have not been going, even though I started to back in May. I love working out more than ever. But It's just that I cannot get motivated enough to go as much as I used to. I think now that it's cooled off, I can start going again. I made a reward game for myself. Every time I work out, I'll allow myself to go to the 99 Cent store across the street and buy a tiny plant. I don't know what I am gonna do if they run out of a selection. But yesterday I bought a little mini rose bush. I've got a few from that store. I like to buy the ones that need tender loving care. Like the ones that are almost dead. And then I take them home, water and trim them. And care for them every morning after I shower. So far it works.

The temperature hasn't cooled off enough to drink my coffee without ice in it though. I still put ice cubes in my coffee cup in the morning. I actually pour coffee into my Farmville huge cup and ice cubes, like now. I am drinking out of my cup from the 7-Eleven Slurpee special.

So today was the day that I did my monthly grocery shopping. Not that I bought an entire month of food. I just by more than usual. And I found something I wanted to try. Nutella it's called. I saw the Kardashians eating this on the E Channel. So I tasted it, pretty good. Nala doesn't like it though. 

My kid Nala has been such a good kitty lately. I bathed her on Tuesday I think it was. I have some gently puppy shampoo with Chamomile and Aloe. She always gets really cuddly and happy after she is clean and pretty.

I've been doing quite a bit of sketching lately too. I usually do this at night. Here are a few of them.

Class is fun as usual. I made a map page in Dreamweaver last night. The hardest part of it was directing the software to the correct files. After that, I was okay.
