I had a busy busy week this last week.
First I want to say that I had my other blog (Google Blogger) blocked for a couple of weeks, because I had an online stalker. Yes, I am so popular that a man stalked me. For about oh, 2 weeks. I really don't know if he is still reading this blog. I just know that he hasn't sent me any more pics of his penis, asking me to come over, with explicit explanations of what he was gonna do to me when I supposedly arrived at his place. Needless to say, I didn't go there. He even found my mother's email and emailed her. I considered posting the pictures he sent me here, but he'd like that I am afraid, it would encourage him.
Last week I applied for a job with the County District Attorney office. So I was invited to take a test, this last Friday, and I did. It was a real basic Office Personnel test. So no I'm not going there to be an attorney. I finished the test and felt good about it too. And then as I left and checked my cell phone messages, there was a voice mail from the manager at Albertsons Grocery store, wanting to know if I was still interested in working there. As there is going to be a strike. I do, and I did. And I started work yesterday.
Which leads me to the title of this blog post. I am going to be crossing their picket line. Myself and quite a few other new employees that is. Ha, I don't care. I am brave. I went out today and bought some new work shoes, 2 pairs of black slacks, and 2 white button-down shirts. I think that since yesterday afternoon, I've been called a "scab" about 5 times. And not by the union employees at work. We got paid yesterday after training too. We were allowed to cash our checks there. My best friend Judy used to work for Albertsons. So she's given me lots of tips. Like, check i.d. for alcohol and cigarettes on everyone. And do the WIC vouchers too. Those I need to pay attention to.
Such is life.
And while I was shopping at Goodwill today I found a super cute halter dress, from Wet Seal. It only needed a small alteration, and I fixed it when I got home. I totally love this dress. I'm gonna wear it to the beach.
My cheap digital camera doesn't do any justice to the pictures I take inside my apartment. But the dress is made of really thin gauze, and it's so cute. And it's a size Medium.
I also found a rayon dress that would be good when I go to my County interview. And I also bought a cute gauze skirt with really pretty flower print, in black back ground. And a cute pair of leather sandals. I love Goodwill, totally love it.
Friday I got a lot done on my website in my web design class. I am beginning to think that either my teacher really likes me, or that I really irritate him. It could be both of those things. During class I asked a question and he was getting irritated with me, saying "you are confusing the class". I was like "I just wanted to ask the question." He kinda shook his head at me. So later, during the lab part of the class, as I was talking and looking at animal pictures online with Ingrid, I heard the teacher say from across the room, to the other students he'd been helping, "I'm gonna go and see what Christine is doing". And over he came. I was thinking that he heard me laughing loud and wondered what I was laughing about. he's a super nice man. If he weren't married I'd probably be flirting with him.
I've been doing a lot of really good sketches lately.
Here are some more, I'm not sure if I already posted these or not.
And the other ones....
I did some more last night too. And I'll probably draw more tonight, and scan them tomorrow in the iMac lab at school.
I began working at the library on a volunteer basis. I think I already wrote about that.
Today after I got my hair cut at the salon, I went to the library to do my Farmville. And then to Tommy's Burgers. I had a chili cheese dog, fries and a root beer.
I know I should not eat that stuff, but I love it.
Oh another thing, I had another bizarre x-rated dream about my mechanic. I love those dreams. I always call him up and tell him about my dreams that he stars in.
