Bio
I live a quiet, peaceful life, and that's the way I want it to be. I have a precious cat who appeared at my doorstep in the middle of the night crying when she was a tiny kitten, and I kept her, naming her Nala. My life's dream is to retire in a little log cabin, way out in the forest, far away from all humans. Just me and my kitties, bunnies, birdies and my own garden and sewing machine and computer. The only place I'd go would be to the library or to the creek nearby to catch frogs.

At this time of year I wish that I had a scanner. And not jut a scanner but a new iMac, printer to go with it. And also some nicer furniture. Not to mention all of the sewing supplies that I lost in the recent move. The list goes on and on.

My birthday is this Friday. Even thought I'm in a much better place than this time last year. I cannot believe that I am 51! Yeah, that is old.

I totally love Deviant Art. Here's a new artist that I just found. Farmboy is what his profile says. Hmmmm. I've seen the prettiest art on this site. Here are some more.

The weather here has been a strange 80 degrees. Yeah. It's kinda hot. I have to put on the air in my apartment. And drink iced tea. And open the windows at night.

Do you ever wish that you could go back and relive your childhood years, knowing what you know now? I would.

Happy Birthday and many more!
Never wanted to return to childhood but I would go back twenty years or so.

Happy Birthday Christine! 51 is not old - I turned 55 last April.

There are some parts of childhood I'd like to revisit - climbing the maple tree in my grandparents back yard, lying awake at night in their HOT upstairs bedroom listening to bullfrogs nearby and trains in the distance, listening to a thunderstorm pound down on the metal roof.

I'll have to check your links tomorrow - it's way past my bedtime.

Happy Birthday, Christine. Thanks for the links. R
Happy Birthday, there youngster! ;-)

(*In June you can wish me a happy 71st*)

From a distance of about 20 years, may I offer this thought: "You are a WHOLE LOT younger than you think you are! "
