Truth be told … I never dated a NJ Congressman! Flirted with a few … but really, who wants to date a politician? Buffy nailed it -- who would admit to it, especially in NJ? Fireeyes got it right too.

I did at one time have 107 pen pals. I consider it my first foray into social networking, when I was around 11 or 12. I used to save all the letters in shoe boxes. I still have a few, along with couple of Bay City Roller slam books that got passed around the world as well.

And the angry pick-up truck driver was, unfortunately a true incident. In his defense, he was mad at me for canceling plans and also was coked out of his mind. He really didn’t know what he was doing, half in his truck, half out, trying to get me to hop in and talk. I was in a parking lot, having just finished covering a story. I simply jumped in and out between parked cars and waited for the cops to come. I knew someone would call 911. They did. It was fine. We broke up. It was a very short-lived relationship!
