I took that job because there was more money in it and it got me outside; in the winter, one goes to work in the dark and returns in the dark. Obama Campaign Ad

John McCain.
He has a reputation as a maverick.
Someone who stands up to oppose some of the worst excesses of his party.
He was opposed to the Bush tax cuts.
But now, John McCain wants to be president and his party does not support mavericks.
So he supports the Bush tax cuts at the expense of the rest of us.
He supports offshore drilling. Which would take years to produce any petroleum.
Is this John Mc Cain ready to lead?

Let's not get fooled again might make a useful reply to a lot of McCain ads. The latest ad I've seen was good example: Obama will raise your taxes etc. etc. ad nauseum. It's plain to see that a lot of us are still being hoodwinked into voting against our own best interests. It's high time to show the "conservative wrecking crew" the way outta town!
