We have experienced one of the greatest transfers of wealth in our history with the Bush tax cuts but McSame will not label this socialism instead it is characterized as way to create jobs. He stated that 40% of the people in this country pay no taxes?! Wealth has been concentrated in the very few and meanwhile the poor have gotten poorer and the middle class is withering away. Barack Obama is calling for a tax cut for 95% of taxpayers. In other words, this policy would spread the wealth around to the people who actually do the work. American workers have been getting more productive while falling further and further behind. To give these people a tax cut to help them is called socialism by John McCain; it is just simple justice and common sense because if the middle class fails then the country fails.
In addition, more and more people are realizing that they have been treated badly by their elected representatives - their interests have not been represented. We elected these people and we expected them to serve our interests but we failed to keep constant watch over them. We failed to write to them when bad bills were under consideration or encourage them to vote for bills that are in our best interests. We have not supported their campaigns financially so they depend on the special interests for funding.
We were fooled twice by Karl Rove tactics and that is what makes this election so very improtant. The Republican presidents are coming to resemble dictators; they swear to uphold the constitution then they plot to increase their power at expense of congress. Our country is beginning to resemble a Fascist state consisting of the very rich and the poor instead of a representitive demorcracy.

- Bio
- After college and the USAF and a couple of office jobs I took a job as a motor coach operator. I took that job because there was more money in it and it got me outside; in the winter, one goes to work in the dark and returns in the dark. This was supposed to be temporary until I figured out what I wanted to do when I grew up.

Talk to most really wealthy people and they will cry foul over the "transfer of wealth" from them to those with less. However, when the wealth of those with less was transferred by our government policy to the wealthy from the 1970's till the present day, the wealthy saw nothing wrong with it. Their advice to those who were having their wealth taken was to "retrain" or "move" or "get over it". And now that they have all the wealth, they do not want to pay any taxes. It's obscene.
