Bakiyev is no prize to be sure, but we've seen this kind of coup before in former Soviet republics, only to fall apart or become a nightmare...hardly a "people's" movement if you ask me. The power vacuum just breeds rampant corruption and privatization schemes--another Milton Friedman wet dream....
That said, we should exit from the "Great Game." I am sick of central Asian Realpolitik...
