A "writer" in that I transmit others' words, all the time, on a huge variety of subjects. A professional observer; a silent listener. I Just Wanna F*n Dance

Rate: 12 Flag

Inspired by Hyblaean earlier today, I must share something a supervisor shared with me  (it's gonna be on a Big screen at his retirement party).  The song is from "Jerry Springer, The Opera" (who knew?), and the vidmix is exhilarating:

Just added two more vids, kidz - check them out as well.

Now I gotta see if I can get my girls' school(s) to do Jerry Springer, The Opera as a school production (Idunno,we'reinNorCalit'spossible....!)
Rated for pointing the philistines to some "real" culture. And good use of "concomitant" and "f*n".
ROFL- I love all three, but especially that last one :D Thanks Connie!!
Gee, CM, thanks - oh, Wait, you're CM and I'M CM!

Peace,

I saw the original run of the musical when I was in London a few years back!! It WAS fucking hilarious. Leave it to the Brits. I would never watch the actual JS, but the musical is like a parody of a parody of a parody......

Since I was there by myself, I was lucky to be able to grab a ticket that was press no show, so I was down center in the sweet spot. (the show was sold out for the entire time I was in London) Sitting next to me was a very proper Englishman - press from somewhere - he spent the whole evening jotting down things in his note pad and never ONCE cracked a smile. That was almost as funny as the entire musical.
I absolutely cannot dance. I'm an appalling dancer, and I know that. Statutes have been enacted to bar me from the dance floors of all the local live music clubs. But now, God help me, I just wanna f#%@ing dance.
Very well done. Would be great to spring this (sorry, couldn't resist) as a school musical but maybe in OC would be better -- post the video if it happens ;-).

I've never seen Jesus so portly...
Now this is going to be stuck in my head. That's OK though. I'll probably get a lot of cleaning done tomorrow! The Prop 8 musical is a hoot, too.
