The force that drives the sprocket drives the chain

out of the slow turning greater cogs

and small rapid pinions, teeth meshing

to chew out meaning - torque of regret -

mechanism of memory and desire

involute unwinding - each hob

shaped to bring truth thusly forth:

out of the blue,  I'll save me.

AHHHHHHH. Ok. Compose. Hello there. Coming back strong and lithe and
torque of regret..
yes. so glad to see this, you. Hello. Thanks.
PS. I have never written FIRST, kind of looking down on that but hey this time FIRST!!
Figures Rita would find this first. She picks up the scent of terrific poetry because she writes it herself, of course. Torque of regret struck me too. So good to see you again.

Sorry, I got too clever. It is a lovely thing indeed, to read your stuff again. Please come back soon. Tomorrow?
& the day after that.
... then, yes, please save you.
You so viscerally and deftly capture the grinding work of saving oneself in this poem. Rated.
And such truth ... is here ...
Hello Hello - I meant to visit each of your gardens before making my courtsey here, but since I only managed to visit two of you yesterday it seems that might take a while. Thank you all for your kind comments and greetings. I've missed the neighborhood.
