Excellent list! Happy New Year!
Make sure you keep us posted on your progress. That'll keep you on track . . . maybe. Happy New Year!
I like your goals. It's so weird to see that James book mentioned, a little spontaneous meme for me because just this week I read online a beautiful letter written to suggest books that the writer (an independent publisher who puts out thoughtful, beautiful books) consider a must in a new library:

10. The Varieties of Religious Experience, by William James. While we are so close in the list to Emerson, I want to add this book, which was a generation on. It’s the source of a line that I live by: “I believe everything that I can; I would believe everything if I could.” James is such a gentle inquirer and so laudably inclusive and hopeful, that I can’t imagine a library without this volume.

If you're interested in the whole letter, here's the link.
Great list of resolutions...I don't have any resolutions but I have lots of odds and ends goals...when i stopped making resolutions they all started happening. One of my goals this year is to do a half marathon, I've never done one so if I finish it in any time I'll be happy! :) I should go to the library more too.
Stars: I've never run a half marathon either. I've never entered an official road race, but I've signed up for a half marathon on Memorial Day Weekend.

The furthest I've ever run in one setting is 10k (6.2 mi).
I read somewhere that Graham Green wrote 500 words a day no matter what. Even if in mid-sentence he would discontinue writing each day when he had written 500 words. He resolved to write a certain way and then did it. His resolve to write with that structure worked. Resolve for the positive, works.

It sounds like you are resolved in all good things. Enjoyed your post.
