Bill S. reported last week on the foliage peak in northern Vermont. Here in southwestern New Hampshire we're just getting there. C'mon up this weekend and have a peep!

Don't operate your camera while driving.

Less than two weeks to the annual Keene Pumpkin Festival!
Start planning your jack o' lantern now.
More of Ashuelot River Park which was created by volunteers with donated funds to replace an eyesore old gas station site.
A shot of sunshine illuminated the Euphorbium.
More trees on New Hampshire Route 101.
This maple is dropping a beautiful carpet of leaves to enhance the pink flowers still blossoming in the pot near its roots.
Come on up and visit us before it's all gone! It won't be long, ayuh.

I have to admit, that first photo is my favorite because I am a sucker for waterfalls.
You're getting some great color, Nancy. I'm grateful you were out there shooting. You got some truly magnificent shots. :-D
Thumbed. Thanks so much for the shout-out too! Much appreciated! *BIG grin*
Thanks, Kent. Maybe you should be an Editor?
Yarn, it's easy to become blase about the fall color, but I found myself almost driving off the road this morning because it was so beautiful. Thanks!
Pilgrim, you're welcome any time.
Bill, it poured rain here on Saturday and I was holding my breath thinking that the leaves could have all been dragged off the trees. But they held on! That waterfall is the mighty Ashuelot River falling into what used to be a pond near a woolen mill. The water's quite high this year.
Chuck, get out and get us some photos when it gets down around your way. Go Sox, indeed!
Trig, I lived in Swanzey for a while many years ago. Beautiful old farming community. Nanatehay told me about the connection. Small world, isn't it!
Shaggy, that's awesome! Maybe there should be a meet-up, but not downtown in the pumpkin mayhem. Let's think about that . . .
Femme, whichever neighbor's yard you pick, it's full of color this year. Glad I could bring you a dream!
Rolling, yes I opened the back door and shot from the steps. The woods are less than ten feet from the back of my house. And just so you know, I wasn't driving when that road shot was taken. But I have had to stop myself from driving while shooting from time to time.

and what a great backyard!
As COS knows, I LIVE IN KEENE TOO!! And it is very purty! We should have a PUMPKIN FESTIVAL MEET-UP! We carve Jack-o-lanterns in the driveway! I live near downtown if anyone (and this includes you, COS) needs a place to park for the festivities. Rated for New England loveliness.
Roy, I imagine that it looks pretty similar to upstate NY. I'm always happy to see the little squirrel people running around the backyard.
Thanks, C.K. Sounds like this Pumpkin Fest could be a real party! I don't often go any more because it's gotten so big and the parking is such a mess. PM me and we'll see if we can work something out. Bonfires are awesome!
Zuma, thanks so much!
Bike, I'll bet it does. 101 can be an awful tedious road to drive and it is the only one that can get you from heah to thayah. Happy you liked these.
