1. Who was your FIRST prom date?

Rusty...it was his prom and not mine. I was in college. It was horrid!

2. Who was your FIRST love and do you still talk with him/her?

My ninth and tenth grade math teacher. It was unrequited (mostly -- he definitely liked me a great deal) but it was as real as my later loves. I haven't talked to him in probably fifteen years but he still teaches at my high school. He taught me SO much about life and the world and my parents HATED him for the ways in which he opened my mind.

3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?

Wild Turkey. :(

4. What was your FIRST job?

Carl's Junior -- brown and orange polyester bellbottoms and a funky bonnet thing for a hat!

5. What was your FIRST car?

My beloved MustangII

6. Who was the FIRST person to text you today?

I have not gotten any texts today! My friends are giving up on me.

7. Who is the FIRST person you thought of this morning?

Probably myself! I'll say my husband, though.

8. Who was your FIRST grade teacher?

I don't remember first grade very well. Mrs. Horn maybe?

9. When and where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?

Rode in a little four-seater at a balloon festival in Nuevo, CA when I was about 12. Didn't ride in a commercial jet until I was 28.

10. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?

Erika...I have not spoken to her in many years.

11. Where was your FIRST sleepover?

A birthday party in Klamath Falls, Oregon at age nine...I didn't have fun. Too shy.

12. Who was the FIRST person you talked to today?

Chelsea, my daughter.

13. Whose wedding were you in the FIRST time?

My cousin Cathy, when I was ten.

14. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?

Checked my email!

15. What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?

The Who with the Clash opening -- at the sold-out Coliseum in L.A.. Culture shock for small-town girl.

16. FIRST tattoo?

None yet...soon...

17. FIRST piercing?

Ears, as an adult.

18. FIRST foreign country you've been to?

Canada...first and only.

19. FIRST movie you remember seeing in the theater?

I remember Diamons are Forever at a drive-in.

20. FIRST Detention you had?

Third grade. I was showing off at the lunch table and stuck my tongue out at the second-grade teacher. I didn't know she was looking :(

21. What was the FIRST state you lived in?

California.

22. If you had three wishes, what would the FIRST one be?

For my husband to find a good job that he likes.

23. What is the FIRST thing you would learn if you had the chance?

I think I have the chance to learn just about anything I want to learn...only my own laziness and lack of motivation holds me back.

nice reading more about you. The Who and the Clash... a great first!
I wish they still had drive-ins.
Thanks Mr. M...I have led a life of moderate and uninteresting failures punctuated by notable triumphs.

There are a few drive-ins...they still exist here and there in the more rural areas.
there is still a drive in in my hometown. my nephew just posted on facebook that he was going to the drive in movie tonight. wish i could go.
Very cool - and truthful, too (if, perhaps, a little hard on yourself). I can relate to #23!
