Buenos Dias to you. From my vantage point I have been observing the child day in and day out, night in and night out. For the last three weeks she has been lamenting that she does not know 25 things about herself that certain people, (whom she addresses from a screen in front of her) would find interesting. And now she proclaims that it is too late, every one has moved on.
Of course I laugh at this. She and I both have a Mexican
heritage and understand the concept of manana. I have seen her put many things off for another day.
So! I will proceed around this small dwelling and perhaps I can find 25 things of interest.

First: to the kitchen. As it is only a few steps away from my perch this won’t take long. (1) Her pans are not well kept up. Clean on the inside, scorched on the outside. (2) She has an alarming habit of putting food into a skillet, turning the flame on sky high, then wandering off. This is especially true when she cooks bacon. She is quickly annoyed with herself when this happens, her language gets very, how you say it? (3) Colorful.
Her desk is in the kitchen (4) On it is the screen she
sits in front of, I see it is some sort of machine that enables her to remain in touch with the outside world. A good idea, as she is alone (5) a lot of the time. She frequently types something then laughs hysterically at what she has written. Apparently she finds herself quite amusing (6). I do too, although perhaps not in the same way she does.
Let me poke around in the drawer. Ah. Her checkbook. Let’s see how well she balances her bank account. I cannot tell if she’s balanced anything or not. Many arrows pointing to this number or that, things circled, things starred, many erasures(7). I think I will put this away. Oh, now this is interesting. A bankruptcy declaration from several years ago. Over $70,000 in debt.(8) My congratulations to her for screwing the capitalist pig US banking system out of such an amount. Viva la Revolucion!
I go to the next area:
There is the bed. She and her animals share this bed (9)
and the dog seems to get the better part of it. One of her
cats is madly in love with the dog (10) and the dog is always
lusting after another cat whom she calls Miss Fatso (11)... I myself had a monkey once, also a fawn named Granzio. I adored them... When she sleeps, she turns into a bear.(12)I do not lie, I have heard it. While the bear prowls about, I close my eyes and the animal does not trouble me. Also, she flings her covers around (13) maybe it is because of her struggle for space with the dog.
Her altar is also in this area (14)I very much approve of this. Let me work my way up to the top....Hmmm. Crystals, yes, significant jewelry items, yes, very good. Candles, of course. What’s this? A spare set of car keys? (15)I suppose she’s praying always to have good transportation. Over here, a photo of a Princess Diana (16) and other photos of her (the child) dancing. She loves to dance with wild abandonment in the small hours, after imbibing vodka and smoking marijuana (17). I love to watch her. Every once in a while she catches me looking.
I gaze all around this small space and I see many photos and paintings of various spiritual beings.(18) Also several DRAGONS of an Oriental nature float about.(19) There are, as well, exotic fabrics hanging (20) on the walls. A lot going on here. However, I would prefer more articles of a Mexican nature. I will work on her.
Oh yes. The fish tank. Let’s have a look. I see one goldfish
(21) I see another (22) That was easy.

And here are some records of her past performances next to the television. (Dios Mios, how the television has changed
since 1954!) Let’s look. Here is something called “Tales of
Wild Women” I will view it. Oh my! She produced and directed this show in Berkeley, and she does the Master of Ceremonies duties with her breasts bare! Yes! (23) I wish I could have been there!
I quickly peek in the bathroom. Many things crammed in here, an easel, blank canvases. (24) The cats have their food dish in the shower stall. An odd place, perhaps to prevent the dog from getting to it.
That’s it. Mi compadre would like to have the last word
about our host.

Dogs and cats, living together: that's a sign of the apocalypse, possibly, or something the Ghostbusters warned us about, anyway.
My discerning eye was drawn to (23). I will need to discover more about that one, I think.
That's a nice pic of Frida Kahlo, too.
Very African.
This was so fun...thanks for sharing!
All the best,

That was my favorite part. Totally cracked me up.
Enthusiastically rated.
Never mind that the 25 thing is, like, so behind us (we wish) -- THIS was worth the wait!! If I could rate it twice I would.
beso xo
I went around and around with myself wondering if I should
do it -I'm glad that I did.
I was given the doll just recently. When I brought her home the
only place that seemed appropriate was next to the Buddha. As
I placed her there, her right arm, which had been in her lap,
immediately popped up and onto Buddha's lap. I kept thinking, there's an OS story there....
and I think she's amused that I can't translate the Espanol
comments. (All's I know are a few uhm, more colorful terms)
the 90's inspired by Women Who Run With the Wolves. I
got dancers and drummers together. The dancers would
each do her version of a Wild Woman and I, as emcee, would
tell her tale prior to her dance. I also did a dance.I did these
shows annually over a period of 5 years. One year I actually
did do it topless - to this day I can't believe I really did such
a thing. I wore a tiger stripped sarong about my hips and
a bowie knife in its scabbard. (that knife is wicked, 13
inches overall, 9 inch blade - it's scares me to look at it now)
as she sees me reading your comment. I had no idea she got
around THAT much. And here I thought I was the only one....
(Bu where is the photo of Frida and Freaky? Note the similarity
of names)
Susanne: That's a comment from one spiritual person to
another. Thank you.
Umbrellakinesis: thank you. I'll check it out. BTW, I love
it when I get your name right on the first try!
Namaste.
