Bio
In this writing workshop and citizen's blog I'm exploring various short forms, often from a satiric angle. My interests include politics, culture and the human comedy; old and new media; social theory and urban ethnography; the commercialization, corporatization and tabloidization of everything; sustainability; Unitarianism (UU); coffee; and writing (sorry, I mean providing content). Turtle stamp is from Tandy Leather. Interested in republishing a piece? Contact drigney3@gmail.com.

Thank you, PoW! I tagged this one both "humor" and "not humor" for reasons you get. It's an attempt to tell a social-science fiction story in compressed form. At least I hope it turns out to be fiction.
Daniel: I really liked this format. It is unique, and says so much with an economy of words that is refreshing.
You don't have to wait to ask "Whatever happened to winter?"

We didn't have one and, as a result, we have no peaches this year. The trees require cold and there was none. We also have lots and lots of bugs!

Glenn Beck, BTW, just signed some monster contract, but I don't khow with whom. I wish we were asking that question right now.
Thanks, PWRD and Keiko. I'm using this blog to experiment with short forms, and I appreciate your noticing this one. Yes, Glenn Beck is still around, but not as prominently as when he had his own show on Fox. I'm thankful for that much!
