If anyone local (enough) to L.A. might have second thoughts about attending because they’d like to protect their avatar anonymity, have no fear! This is Hollywood! We do celebrity here. I can promise no ‘outting’ photos of anyone (like the inimitable Monsieur Chariot) who might prefer to keep their actual image ‘en avatar’. (I’ll bring some off-duty Sony Pictures studio security forces w/me just in case).

So to avoid the need for wearing 3x2s of our avatar pix(!), I’ll just put a yellow rose in my lapel. Plus the host/hostess will know where we are, and the bar area’s not all that huge anyway...
And I hear you about trying to get somewhere in L.A. after work on a weekday. But truth is, that can be said for most any area of town you’re not already in, not just Westwood. My thinking was that Westwood’s just on the shy side of halfway between the coast and W.Hollywood/Hollywood, plus it’s near the 405, which some may be inclined to take. And anyone fearing the fading rush hour traffic can always come closer to 7 PM. I won’t pretend to know where everyone’s coming from, but if it were from Pasadena, we’d surely move the venue! L.A.’s just so damn big...
We can stand outside of the doors and pretend we are paparazzi. And flirt with the doorwo/man. (Besides, it'll be fun. I think.)
And ask the host/hostess for the OS party, but the bar area’s not that big. Plus, I’ll be wearing a yellow rose on my jacket – which means, I guess, I’ll be making a lot of introductions...

okay, the good part of me is thankful for the link to anni's post and to see your soooo handsome face again and to see the others's too. and to hear about the gathering even though i was jealousing like freaky. and i want to thank you for your comment on my smiling post. that was shakespeare that i paraphrased, right? we happyfew/three. henry the 5th? anyway, thanks for noticing sinc eyou know your shakespeare and i thought i was pretty clever there.
