Here's the BBC TV movie of "Christopher and His Kind" -- complete. Not at all bad (though the otherwise lovely actor who plays Heinz doesn't have Henz's incredble smashed nose.) Yes things have changed a lot. But maybe not that much. Christopher and Heinz had the Nazis to deal with. Today we have The Republican Party and the "Tea Party" brownshirts. There is absolutely no reason to believe that things couldn't revert back to the Bad Old Days if given half a chance. There are so many gay KAPOS out there. Consdier that noxious closet queen Ed Koch -- campaigning to put a Republican in power in Weinerdude's old seat. Orthodox Jews voted the Democrats out as revenge for Gay Marriage being made legal in New York. And Ed Koch supported them. No surprise as years ago he abandoned his lover to die of AIDS alone, lest he be shwon to be "one of them." Id's say he's lower than pond sum, but that sould an insult to pond scum, which has its uses after all.
