The whole mess of conflicting evidence , the grassy knoll, the magic bullet, the alcoholic District of Attorney for New Orleans, Jim Garrison and myriad others distract us from something obvious we all know now but didn't know then. The President had Addison Disease and was a speed freak and a satyr. He was routinely injected with cortisone, testosterone, amphetamines and took opiate derived pain killers.

Bottom line: People in the US government were up over their necks in the logistics and planning of the assassination. The book changed my opinion on the wt job being only the handiwork of the Mafia.
By the way, I read all 44 volumes of the Warren Commission documents as part of my PhD work.
