Okay! So here are some more bizarre drawings I made, that I then scanned and did color stuff to in Photoshop. I am having way too much fun with this.
This one is called "The Beginning Of the War"

It's interesting to go back and look at the original black and white drawing in my sktetch book, after doing all this stuff to it, because it's a completely different vibe. With this one, the mood that I always imagined being there in the black and white I was able to really get once I managed to make the background in a cool looking way.

This one is just plain silly. I never knew for sure if I liked it but I think I do now that it's even stranger than it was as a sketch.

This one I call "Humans of the deep."

This one is called Toothache, because it expressed my state of ache at the time of drawing, immediately after an emergency root canal!!!!!

You've really got something here. Thumbed.
Joan K, I think it's awesome that you interpreted that picture like that, I would have NEVER thought about that!!!! :)
I just seriously overused the word that.
Man, not some of the better lyrics ever written Dave, but you make my ass LAUGH!
That's some serious artwork bro. Number 2 (no, not the bodily function) is my favorite. I love the rich navy/purple used.

The bodily function No. 2 has been used in art too once, I think Guiliani once went on a crusade against some art they put in the Brooklyn Museum that involved dried elephant feces and the cross, something odd like that. Hey, whatever tickles one's fancy!
they do seem to evoke states of mind!
Not writing!?
Surely this does not belong in a blog.
;-)
You are delightfully talented and twisted. It's wonderful how your poetry and your drawings intersect to create a skewed wonderland of weird.
And I rarely resort to writing
