What defines me? I'd love to write this really great adventure story, but alas, it be a work of fiction. I'm a mom of one, my son, now 15 (yes we're dealing with the teenage years) my furry children I have 4 cats, 2 dogs (1 is on loan from a sick family member) and 3 chickens. I try to do the best I can at whatever I do, keep out of trouble (which never seems to work) and get as much out of life as I possibly can in the short time I'm allotted. After all, " You only live twice" ;) Well, that's me

Doh! Trouble in Fayetteville,NC

Rate: 1 Flag

I have been told, that much like the Simpsons Cartoon short someone had posted here earlier this week. The Electronic polls in Fayetteville were "broken" someone voted Obama and McCain lit up.. they called someone over to show them and it did it again. They called a third party over...but they didn't seem to care. (both people called over were working the polls) I wonder how many people in Fayetteville wanted to vote for him...but had it light up the other party?

This is what my DH told me he heard at work tonight. I guess we'll have to wait and see if we hear more about it on the news?

I'm sick of this election machine bullshit! Over 4 years to fix this and it's still (intentionally) broken!
I was so worried that there would be problems with the election machines this year. I live in Nebraska, where the company who creates them is based--a state that has long been red--that could explain a lot! I was worried about other shenanigans too, but it seems that while there was that component, things more or less went off without a hitch--thankfully!
I am sure it happened a lot more than we know, mostly elderly people were victimized when they went alone to vote. The good news is that more people than ever expected were waiting in those lines to Vote for Obama. It is ridiculous.
