Inspired by Jodi Kastens virtual tour of the Art in her home, I'm doing the same. This wakes up your eyes as to what exactly you're looking at every day.

My step-daughters beautiful painting she made in highschool. Two men and a cat? My husband calls it a monkey. Blue men before blue men became big. Painted in Honolulu, HI.

This painting is entitled: "Moonlight Lament", a signed print. One of several of wild animals around the house. My husband inherited it from his mother. From Wyoming?

My sons crazy-seagreen-wildthing he made in elementary school. I think I'll be buried with this.

Hanging the bathroom, still life of flowers. My husbands mother bought this at a garage sale. I thought it might be secretly worth millions but apparently it's just someones hobby painting.

A signed letter from Bill Clinton, thanking my husband.

A beautifully handcrafted pitcher/vase made by my BFF Paul who lives in Provincetown,Massachusetts.

From my modelling days for Jordan Marsh in Boston, many years ago.

Handpainted tile of a blueheeler, in honor of our dog Maile. Bought in Angels Camp, California.

Stuffed pheasant. There used to be a proliferation of such items around the house, prompting my step-daughter to ask her Dad: "what exactly is your interior design scheme - Dead Animal?"

I want to know if anyone has one of those Jesus Tree prints that Home Interior parties sold years ago. It was this single tree that had the face of Jesus hidden in it a bazillion times. Every single one of my aunts had one in the '80's. SO gloriously tacky. Oh, and if you want to lose an afternoon, put some variation of "Jesus Tree Print" into an image search.
(thumbified for dead animals)
I'll bite on another...why did your husband get a thank you letter from Clinton?
I love to talk about the art in our home, and I never thought about blogging it.
Thanks.
That crazy seagreen thing is quite interesting. That's what my mind feels like.
