Debra Takai was a kind girl from her childhood. She was very shy and calm by nature but was always there to help others. She was an average student in studies but was very active in the class. She was a true friend to all her classmates.
Debra Takai had a big heart. Once on way to home during her college days, she saw a small girl on the side of the road who was abandoned by her parents. She was weeping and hungry. She took that girl home. But that girl was mentally unstable.
She insisted her parents to allow that girl to stay with them but her parents never agreed due to that girl’s mental state so she shifted her to the nearby childcare centre, which was an NGO that worked for poor kids.
Debra Takai regularly visited the NGO and even donated money to the NGO. This thought touched her heart and she decided to work as a social worker for mentally challenged kids and people. She was very gregarious with her colleagues and everybody loved her.
She joined a charity organization New York Mental Asylum and worked there day and night for the betterment of such people in the society. Debra Takai would give seminars on how the society should treat the mentally sick people.
She was always cordial-gregarious-friend with the patients and always believed that our love and affection is the real treatment to their mental illness. Debra Takai never realized them of their illness and all the patients considered her as someone who could really feel their feelings from heart.
