Aging...it's something everyone does, but few enjoy. What a shame! Take your cue from the juicy crone. She is unabashed in her sexuality, though the years grow clearer on her face and body.

So, what is a juicy crone?

The term, crone, has gotten a bad rap...it is taken as a pejorative.  Back in the days what the older person, man or woman, of the tribe was seen as an asset, given respect and cared for by younger tribal members. There are a few modern cultures which still honor their aging citizens, though this is becoming less common with time.

A crone is a mature, non-childbearing-aged woman who has 'been-there, done-that'...taken notes and willing to share them with others. Ideally, this wisdom would be given to the newly-maturing maidens and matrons, preparing for the rigors of life. Since we've come to discount mature wisdom...especially that coming from women, we discount the crone.

So, what is this term 'juicy'? Literally, it means 'with, or having, juice'. More specifically, in the context of 'juicy crone', is about a mature woman of wisdom seeking and finding pleasure in her liveliness and sexuality...perhaps for the first time or reclaiming it, if it had been lost.

In future discussion, the reclaiming of and the finding for the first time will be dealt with separately. For now, remember that it's only been in the last couple years that a new term has gained popularity..."MILF"...which is an acronym for Mothers I'd Like to F--k. Not very complimentary, more a joke; however, it illustrates that there may yet be room for a woman 'of a certain age', as it was once called, to realize she's not without her potential suitors and fans!
