Dating...okay, your first reaction, as a single, older lady is probably: FORGET IT! Why bother? There's no one out there for me!

Too bad, whatever you believe; you're right.

The juicy crone to the rescue! No matter what your stats: height, weight, age, you-name-it; there's someone (more than ONE actually) out there for you. I know, you don't believe me right now, but read on.

First of all, take inventory. Not of what you want (or rather, think you want, which is worse), not of the specific stats of your 'intended', not of most of the preconceived notions about the 'perfect someone' you have been dreaming of...most of which you got from TV or romance novels. Take inventory of your OWN qualities. If this is a difficult task for you (surprise, surprise, hello, inner critic), ask a good friend...hopefully someone of the opposite sex, yes, that guy-friend you tell everything to, that guy. He will have a great idea about who you are and why he likes you so much.

Next, find someone to take a sexy, complimentary picture of you; not one that shows cleavage, not one you took of yourself with a webcam, pop for a professional portrait, if you can afford it. Now, with a description of yourself in hand and picture to post, find a dating site that resonates for you. Answer as many questions you can (set a time limit, though, this is not a long-term project, you're not going for perfection). Keep your 'have-to-haves' to a bare minimum; you want to keep your options open.

You probably won't have to wait for long for the winks, emails, and shout-outs start rolling in; there are many more guys looking for gals than the reverse. The cards are stacked in your corner! But, in any case, don't wait for them to contact you; check out the matches that are suggested and explore profiles yourself. Send out some 'feelers' of your own while you respond to the FEW that contact you that YOU are truly interested in.

Now come the 'hard part'...actually biting the bullet and going to meet the one (or more) potentials...in person. This is critical, sister crones; you can only go so far by exchanging email, texts or even phone conversations. You must, must, MUST, go on a 'coffee date'. Doesn't matter whether you're actually a coffee drinker; coffee shops are everyone, have long hours, they're 'safe', convenient, and relatively a low-cost investment in time and money. 

Again, believe the Juicy Crone herself; ladies, you have what guys are looking for by just being you. If you are happy, confident and easy-going, after passing the profile test, to be sure, he is interested or he would not be there to meet you. YOU and ONLY you are the one to say yeah or nay about whether you're also interested in HIM...now that you have met him in person. Do not, I repeat, do NOT jump on the first thing that comes along...unless he is just right, and, most likely...as the saying goes: you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince! In this case, don't feel obligated to actually plant a wet one on this particular 'frog' in hopes of finding that it/he is a prince in disguise. A hug can speak volumes, but you may find there are a few erstwhile frogs out there who do not deserve any amount of physicality.

You may be asking, how many is enough (to find the right one)? There are no set rules here. One thing is for certain, you only fail if you stop looking...at least until you have found that one you're looking for. It's okay to take 'breaks', take time out for yourself; you may find that it is during these breaks that chance finds you when you're least expecting it!

Remember, sister crones, you are powerful, wonderful goddesses, all! When you exude greatest, you attract greatness. This is the most powerful law of attraction; use it to your advantage and you cannot go wrong.
