
The C. W. Post College of Long Island University in Brookville, New York is pleased to announce an on-line college level course in affiliation with OpenSalon.com. The course is entitled "How to Post."
For the spring semester four OpenSalon members will be leading the on-line classes in two week periods each.
The first session will be conducted by Dr. Freaky Troll who will demonstrate the methodology behind building reader audience through leveraging bright hair, bold graphics and photoshop technique.
The second session will involve a historical perspective presented by Procopius who will trace the history of today's on-line flame wars from the earliest recorded conflicts of mankind.
For the third session, OpenSalon member bbd will demonstrate the latest photographic software and methods for presenting your photographs in the sharpest manner currently possible and will discuss location shooting that students will find invaluable in their future photo essays.
Finally, for the fourth and final session Monsieur Chariot will discuss the importance of illustration and Nineteenth Century Romanticism in creating posts that harken back to an earlier age and create an emotional bond with readers.
OpenSalon members can find more information at www.liu.edu and arrangements have been made that allow students to pay their tuition through the Tippem system.
