Bwhahahahahahaha.
Comments not posting. R
Okay, what I said earlier was I'll take the Earl Grey, clever post. Sorry for the confusion.....
I know your trying to make fun of the TEA partiers, but I don't get this joke. Are you picking on the idea that they back both the Rep and Dems? Or is this an old vs. young thing?
And that's only the beginning . . . wait until they vote on Peppermint Tea . . .
OEsheepdog, Sheila, Two Thumbs, Owl and Marlene ~ thank you very much for all of your nice comments! I changed the cartoon to have two red teapots after seeing Two Thumbs comment because that made me think the blue and red kettles might represent Democrats and Republicans to many viewers. As far as the meaning to this, I would say there is some fun exaggeration with the over-sized boiling tea kettles and some humor poked at the tea party crew by showing they are more interested in their upcoming cup of tea than politics!
You people are about as ignorant as they come. Progressives, and I say Progressives because Democrats have been consumed by them, do not like when they are called derogatory terms. Yet, you like to call the tea party members derogatory terms. You know what? Grow up and act like an adult and come to the realization you are destroying America.

You will begin to roll, cry and have a tantrum of violence through protests. Your protests consist of breaking laws, hitting police with bottles, starting fires, terrorizing Americans and their children, bullying tactics and basically acting worse than animals. The illegal immigrant protests were proof what the Progressive party likes. Their violence was shameful, especially since the first thing they ever did in this country was break America’s laws. Yeah, that is a nice way to show us that they love our country and then they justify their existence here with violence. They would fit right in to your party.

The biggest reason for the excessive violence by your party is that you are in the minority with your ideology. You figure you have to scream, yell, commit violence and carry a big stick to terrorize the majority of Americans who love America and want to see it come back from the ashes that this criminal administration is turning it into. You must be real proud of the progressive party, but personally, it disgusts Americans. I am an Independent that has seen the Truth of what is in the White House now because the person that is there is not the person who campaigned.

Sooner or later, Progressives are going to be on the receiving end of their violence toward Americans because we are not going to take it anymore. Our patience is being pushed to the limit by your violent mentality.

It is time for the Patriots of America to rise and meet the SEIU thugs as well as the progressive criminal elements destroying our Country.
What a shame that the Progressive party is going to cause war in our own Country, due to their violence. This violence cannot be left unchecked though or just like that banker’s son hiding in the bathroom from the SEIU thugs, or the black American beaten up by the SEIU thugs, we will all have to take up arms to protect our families.

When that happens, all hell will break loose and you have no one to blame but the violent members of the progressive party.

It will not be long until that point is reached.
Reiko, thanks very much!

Tommy T, this cartoon was meant to be a gentle ribbing.
Great cartoon and I will take the lemon zinger any day!
Yikes, talk about a tantrum! TommyT, the cartoon just went way, WAY over your head. (good job baiting the trolls, d' - without really trying.)

I'll take Lemon Zinger, and peppermint as my second cup.
hahaha! tea baggers have no sense of humor. no shock there.

i love your artwork. great stuff.
It is pretty evident that you do not take what is happening to our country seriously. We do!

The term teabaggers is a derogatory term, so cut the baloney on your excuse as it is a little humor. Our country being torn apart is not humorous to me.

Ardee, evidently you are the troll hiding under a bridge making fun of the country being torn apart.

Get your heads out of the sand, open your eyes to the Truth of what is going on before it is too late and you will have been duped by a criminal administration.

Yes, we completely take this serious. Evidently, much more serious than the bunch of jokers in here.

Make no mistake about it, SEIU and other organizations have brought the fight on and we WILL answer the call.
Ha! that's clever. R
Tommy T ...( T ? Is that intentional? LOL!) has his teabags in a wad, doesn't he? He really needs to stop watching Glenn Doom and Gloom Beck.
Nikki, thank you very much!

MM, thanks for the compliment and nice to see there is another fan of lemon zinger here!

Ardee, peppermint is another one of my favorites. too! Starting having that back in art schools days, way back when!

Phil, humor definitely helps many of us get through the day! I have been enjoying your wonderful cartoons, as well, and thanks for the nice compliment!

Tommy, you have certainly made it clear where you stand about the current administration and the SEIU. What are your thoughts on farm subsidies? I understand that there is a tea party candidate, Clint Didier, that has accepted farm subsidies for many years.

"Republican U.S. Senate candidate Clint Didier likes to bash bloated government as he courts support of the conservative tea-party movement for his primary-election campaign. But Didier himself has cashed in on federal farm subsidies, according to a database of U.S. Department of Agriculture subsidies maintained by the Environmental Working Group (EWG).

A former NFL player turned farmer, Didier has repeatedly called the federal government "a predator." He vows to oppose the "Marxist utopia" he says Democrats want to create — "where everyone is taken care of from womb to tomb."

But Didier himself has cashed in on one big government aid program. He has received nearly $273,000 in federal farm subsidies since 1995, according to a database of U.S. Department of Agriculture subsidies maintained by the Environmental Working Group (EWG).

Didier's 1,000-acre Pasco farm has received price-support payments for wheat, corn and barley, reimbursement for crops destroyed by hail, and "conservation subsidies" to replace steel irrigation pipes with plastic. His annual take has ranged from $2,700 to $65,000, according to EWG, a nonprofit organization critical of the farm-subsidy program."

Thoth, thanks very much!

IHeartBeer, great catch on the "T"--that one slipped by me! Gloom Beck . . . nicely stated!
Tea baggers on OS, guys like Tommy T, are just another ad poster for nike shoes and the like only they're selling another rip off brand. Thing is, they know it, everyone knows it - it's like they're turkeys screaming for Thanksgiving while the rest of us are wondering wtf is with these idiots....

desingnanator,
Whew! Thank goodness it wasn't a vote between Red Zinger and Lemon Zinger. It would have wreaked havoc in the party. :)
V
SCAPEGOAT OBAMA IF YOU LOVE PREMIUM
DEATH SPIRALS

The main thing is defend Obama from the scapegoaters or
go back to premium death spirals.

It wasn't Bush who created $ Trillions in tax cuts benefiting the
very wealthiest, all borrowed from abroad, combined with
waging 2 wars plus a Medicare D Program that prohibits the
government from entertaining drug company competitive
bidding.

Mr. Obama's lack of financial wiggle room was totally
foreseeable.

Nonetheless, President Obama has delivered a speech to West Point graduates wherein once again he reminded that he, a technocrat, is nonetheless Commander-In-Chief.

http://www.c-span.org/Watch/Media/2010/05/22/HP/R/33218/Pres+Obama+to+Cadets+Troops+form+anchor+of+global+security.aspx

Therein he lists the U.S.' strategic and economic agenda.
EverNewEcoN reads:

1) Full plate of problems. Troop levels may be too rich.

2) ObamaCare still less expensive than
just premium death spirals and helplessly bankrupted
families waltzing into emergency rooms.

AS TO THE ABOVE (EVERNEWECON)
OBVIOUSLY SHOULD READ:

(It WAS Bush)

waging 2 wars plus a Medicare D Program that prohibits the

@ Tommy T(ea)

"sound and fury, signifying nothing."

That is all.
