For Peter Frampton fans here on Open Salon here are some more songs from the concert last Friday night in CT. The top video is another one of mine and the rest were shot by another fan who was sitting closer to the stage judging by the camera angle.
In case you missed Sunday's post with a birthday tribute to Stacey Youdin stop by and wish him a belated birthday and check out those additional videos here.

HUGGGGGGGGGGGGG
He just played Monday up in Grand Rapids and here's part of a local review in what sounds like another great show in a venue around the same size as CT:
"And Frampton's current 35th anniversary “Frampton Comes Alive” tour stops Friday outside Detroit at the 15,000-seat DTE Energy Music Theatre, which is more than seven times the size of the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park amphitheater where the guitarist played Monday night.
But I'm betting Frampton and his bandmates have rarely experienced a better, more inspiring atmosphere than the one they found during their Independence Day stop in Grand Rapids.
For three hours – the longest show by a single artist that I've seen at Meijer Gardens – they certainly played like they didn't want to leave the lush and art-bedecked venue, treating the 1,669 in attendance to the entire 1976 “Frampton Comes Alive” double-album, then trotting out a bevy of Frampton's more recent instrumental gems in the second half.
For the baby boomers on hand, there was nothing quite like the nostalgia trip of a show that got played EXACTLY the same way it was presented 36 years ago when that multi-platinum album first was recorded."
Scanner, those prices sound similar to CT. The reserved seat section was very close to being filled which was more people than I saw in the section last July when Willie Nelson played at the venue. The lawn area was priced about the same as the $35 price range in S.C. and there was plenty of area for 500 to 1,000 fans to sit in that part. Thanks very much for your thoughtful comment!
