Rita's & Jules' OC: '80s hair affair & "Games People Play"

Rate: 8 Flag

I was up quite late last night, but not quite late enough to see Jules' & Rita's open call until the sun was rising this morning! I figured I'd scan in a photo from the period and throw it into the mix today...

This shot taken circa 1980 includes 100% genuine '80s hair and shows me pretending to be busy at my desk:

1980

In an interesting coincidence OSRG had recently recorded an instrument version with a grand piano, the 1980 popular song from The Alan Parsons Project entitled Games People Play:

Nice photo, good hair. Good song.
Jules, I was surprised by how many of those sports posts had shown up this morning, too! Thanks!

Tink, Rugby 'R Us this morning--what happened to the Super Bowl? Thanks for stopping by!

Mary, it had been a while since I heard the song but it's a great representation from 1980. Thank you for the compliments on the pic, the hair, and the song!
You've got a bit of an Andy Warhol-esque look, D. Even the thing pinned to the board looks like an object being repeated with different shadings. :)
MM, starting way back in high school I really admired and studied Warhol's work so I really appreciate your comment about how I looked a bit like him! You have a good eye for details...the artwork on the slanted drawing board was the same small photo repeated many times by way of photo silkscreen printing in about ten different colors.
HELLLO there, love the glasses, would be in today too! I remember Parsons Project very well. Also I ROBOT>.. Thanks for playin, I fell asleep around 430am or so.
My brother had hair like yours in the 80s--ha ha!
Welcome to the party John. Put away that drafting lamp and break out the Thomas Dolby records!
"pretending to be busy!" Ha. Alan Parsons -- now that is a throw back!
I guess I missed this over the weekend. Nice to see you!
