It's that great time of February when my friend Marlene aka Trilogy celebrates her birthday (tomorrow to be exact) and I wanted to find people who were listening to Happy Birthday Marlene on their mp3 players.
Marlene is one of a handful of OSers I've had the pleasure to meet in person and I have really enjoyed her presence on the site, her great posts, and her thoughtful comments on my stories!
The cake is already baked and ready for tomorrow!

A video crew in Seattle checked out what people downtown were listening to and it's fun to watch as is the video just below that of Manhattan.
(Manhattan was included here because Marlene is originally from the city.)
Manhattan and What Song Are You Listening To?
The net result of the two videos above is that no one was listening to Happy Birthday Marlene so I walked around the city today looking for someone listening to the song by James Maddock and around 2 PM today at the 9|11 Memorial I had success. Unfortunately, the end of the video clip was cut off by the camera when I hit the 'save recording' button! Also, I have a head cold which made me sound really nasal-like when I asked the question: "What song are you listening to?"
So here's a live recording of James Maddock performing Happy Birthday Marlene...
I also wanted to present the song Marlene by the talented Todd Rundgren along with some additional great songs from the same album from a few years back. (On a side note it was in 1984 when I met a friend of a friend who was an engineer at Todd's Bearsville, NY recording studio.)
(I had forgotten about I Saw The Light and upon seeing Mary's comment below added it in just now.)
Have a very Happy Birthday Marlene and many happy returns to the day!!!
