I saw the interview on 60 Minutes last night with Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan and said to myself "Paul Ryan looks like Goober Pyle's separated at birth twin." Well, my guess is that Goober could develop a far better budget for the nation than Paul is capable of.

I think he may be his father, because Goober is a little long in the tooth, but he has done a lot of traveling.

That's unfair to George Lindsay.
First time I saw Ryan after his annointing I thought to myself, "Hey there, Skippy!"
He looks like Romney's little brother. (Little fraternity brother who has just been pledged).

Oh come on guys, be nice... Goober never had a mean bone in his body and he certainly wouldn't throw grandma off the cliff.

I just got a text from Wally, down at the fillin station. He told me that Goober has taken to screaming at Aunt Bee and Miz Edwards, "FEND FOR YOURSELF YOU OLD BATS! NO MORE GUMMIT HANDOUTS"
