We "won" our district, but the rest, as they say, is history. We must have been on the same highways... but I don't envy you - our polling places closed on time. I can tell you why I disagree with Rush. I can tell you why Rush is detrimental to the entire marketplace of ideas. Rush Limbaugh uses tactics which herd hopeless wanna-be elitist conservatives, and encourages them to vote against their best interest. Rush has people ally themselves with the interests of the wealthy, by associating with one another culturally. Rush preys on ignorance and fear. Rush tells people to choose tribally, and subdivides the national community along lines which provide temporary cohesion, and long term conflict.
