Gorgeous, sumptuous . . . just lovely.
Thanks, Cathy-- my north cali soul-sister.

Gives a new perspective to the phrase, "my main squeeze." Where is the fresh grapefruit juice! Needed to cool off. But really, I agree with Delia, great blending of the imagery and the text. They certainly feed the imagination of the other.
very cute, sensus!
i wanted to do another bit on fruit-- a companion to my haiku from last week-- and then while looking for picture of fruit I stumbled upon the rose--voila!
Ms. Dharma, "Ruby Red" is lookin' mighty invitin' today.

It must be spring... feels warm in here...

You have posted some lovely images but I think my mental images are even more lovely!!
Bubba: that requires a sprinkling of sugar, of course:)

Blue/greg: "hyiyokimama" sounds like it should accompany a jujitsu move.

Starryeyed: hello, fella. i hope it's spring where you are, too-- nice and warm and fragrant. it smells of jasmine around here.
Oh my...you ARE the fruit. delectable haikus!
I didn't know grapefruit go be so erotic, and to think I wasted all this time eating peaches.
