I've been out of contact with the internet since Friday.

I'll be around until Thursday, but I'll be working too.

I've been on a vacation that was hard and rough and dirty and thinky.  Lots of great fodder for future essays. 

Leave me a comment here if I've missed anything great over the last week or so.

We decided to take a few days off from our vacation to return home and get all cleaned up while I work.  It has really been rough, but it's been very very real.   It's tough to be living life and writing essays at the same time.  I wonder if there isn't an ideal ratio of adventure to recovery time that allows for maximum writing productivity without burning the author to carbon dust.
