Bio
While the ashes of marriage #2 were cooling, I began a journal here in verse, to keep myself out of trouble. So far so good, and one day at a time. I took a hiatus this past January, and I missed it terribly. Writing daily had changed the way I think - not my opinions, but the process of thinking itself. So here I am back again, and hungry. I began with three rules: (1) Iambic pentameter, (2) Perfect rhyme, and (3) It had to be true (no hyperbole). I hereby amend rule number 3: If I'm writing about myself, yes, it has to be true. But it doesn't, if I want to tell a story.

Seeing. Wednesday July 7, 2010

Rate: 4 Flag

I watch them while they sleep.  They grow.  I swear.
Their legs are somehow longer than they seemed
When sitting down to dinner.  With their air
Of simple guiltlessnes, they sleep, redeemed
Of blame for any daily, small offense.
Repose with easy confidence; the rest
Of innocence, once ours, is theirs, and hence
To children of a future, who will test
The patience of them both.  I see them all.
For now I watch these two, lest they should fall.

It is a strange phenomenon isn't it?

This thing we call life with all of it's varied exhibitions of variety :).

And children.. the really fast slide show.

Rated for close observation.
Sleep and peace and love. I love what you "see" here. Exquisitely touching.
Testing the future? Yes!

May the test be freeing.
So, so beautiful DB. I wish I could go back.
